Back on the Road….

…or not!

I flew out to LA today with the intention of getting the Sportster and riding it back through the desert over the weekend. It turns out a truck filled with lithium batteries crashed near Barstow, closing I-15 for the day. I don’t believe northbound is open yet.

I can make it through the 110 degree heat. But I can’t take the heat and bumper-to-bumper traffic.

So, I’m saying put in lovely La Crescenta, CA, for tomorrow, and going to head out Sunday morning.
