There are always reasons not to take a ride.
For the past few years they’ve overwhelmed me.
I bought this beautiful bike, truly a Harley for all times, in April 2022 from my friend James, and have put a whopping 3,000 miles on it since. In the midst of recovering from rotator cuff surgery this year, I began to ask myself if I really even wanted to continue motorcycling.
Maybe I was done with it.
So, I’m heading out on a trip to the West Coast. Goal: rediscover motorcycling.
I’ll rendezvous with Richelle in LA for ten days, do some work while there, head up the coast to see friends and family, and then loop back to Boulder.
I invite you all to ride along with me. I’ll probably post intermittently while I’m in LA, unless it’s really and truly great. I promise to keep the postings coming while I’m on the road.
The last trip ended in complete motor melt down, so I am sure there will be some adventure along the way.
Onwards!

I bought a motor home 31May2024 to let me haul both road bike and dirt bike up to Montana and do some adventures with James & Adela. MY mileage had been curtailed last year too, but not to your extent nor did I have injuries (first time in a couple years). Good luck finding your “adventure is calling me in the Wind” again.
