A great motorcycling day. A great motorcycle experience crossing the cascades. Lake Diablo was fantastic. We crossed over to the island where Anacortes is, but headed south to Oak Harbor, crossing Deception Pass Bridge, which is definitely amazing (no place to stop).
We were a little wiped out by Oak Harbor, but Richelle found us a ferry ticket and a motel, and we pressed on.

Nothing improves a motorcycle trip like a ferry ride, and the ferry to Port Townsend did not disappoint. Thirty minutes, a heady wind, quick trip to the galley—lots of fun.

We ended up in Poulsbo, WA, in a great little motor inn, and then down at the marina, to The Brass Kraken, which was genuine and fun, a little cliched, with great wings and oysters.

At the end of the day, we watched this fishing boat back into the slip at the top of the dock and unload at nine pm. Hard work. Impressive.
